BBI has developed a bottle closure system. The pro-nurser baby bottle regulates air intake and ventilation, which effectively neutralises pressure. It incorporates a novel “on/off” switch. This excellent product helps prevent bottle-fed babies from developing colic, which reduces their crying time and increases their food intake - leading to healthier babies and more relaxed and rested parents. With the pro-nurser baby bottle, everyone gets a better night’s sleep! BBI holds national phase patent applications for the technology and a provisional specification has been lodged for the enhanced patent. An international manufacturing and distribution License has been entered into and the product is on the shelves in Coles supermarkets Australia wide. Launches in other countries will follow.
Other products, currently in research and development phase include a cleft palate feeder, a breast pump, an anti-AIDS disposable bottle and a weaner cup.

BioCane Ltd holds a license to commercialise the Brisbane developed BioDry steam drying technology. This technology efficiently converts sugar cane into a high energy fodder for livestock called “CowCandy”. CowCandy will initially be used as part of a Total Mix Ratio for cattle. CowCandy is already in high demand in Asian countries and trial quantities have been exported. Nambour plant under construction. BioCane has been successful in obtaining grants from the local Maroochy Shire Council, State Government and the Federal Government.

CeaseFire Technologies has developed and is currently enhancing a range of passive fire control products designed to protect property from the damaging effects of fire, particularly in bushfire zones.
CeaseFire has developed what are believed to be the only paint coatings to have passed Australia’s tough AS3539 Bushfire Certification. Their 3-coat paint system is being sold through selected 3D Paint & Colour stores and Mitre 10 stores.
Other innovative fire-retardant products for home and personal protection include wet wool, fire curtains, ponchos and gas cylinder covers.
Cease-Fire also operates Corrosion Marshalls, a company which distributes anti-corrosion products featuring Cortec VpCI technology.

Harcourt has developed and patented a new combustion engine, which produces large amounts of torque per unit of fuel burned. The Harcourt Engine is also lightweight, fuel-efficient and easy to build and repair.
The company has built 2 prototypes which have been independently tested to prove the concept works. It is now pursuing licenses with engine builders to develop particular engines.
